Bullpup Jr. High football is 5-0 so far this season. Coaches seem to be very proud of the boys and their hard work. Coach Owen says, “that mentality that all we do is win and the 8th graders having that mentality that losing sucks and at all cost we’re gonna do whatever it takes to win.” The team played Fredonia last week and are getting ready to face Erie/Galesburg this week. In the past 6 years, the team has only lost 1 league game. Coach Sam Wyrick says, “dedication, hard work, and the desire to win keeps our team going week to week”. Eighth grader, Jaxon McDaniel says the key to their success is “not playing down to our competition.”
