Sophomore Camden Weimer got third place in the Blitz Chess Tournament. Camden is a nice person that showed sportsmanship to everyone he went against. He was calm yet competitive in the chess tournament. Camden said, “I guess it felt good beating everybody else and having fun with them”. The chess team would like to have more people join them in the chess tournament because not many people show up to the tournament. The tournament was held at Caney Valley high school on 12/10/22.
